Executive Summary
The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat, an internationally recognized luxury 5-star wellness resort, invites passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Safety & Security Personnel. This role combines resort security operations and workplace safety responsibilities, ensuring a safe, secure, and well-managed environment for guests, associates, and property.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily safety and security operations of the resort, including perimeter patrols, access control, surveillance, incident response, and protection of guests, associates, and assets within the property.
- Oversee and assist in life-safety protection measures, including safeguarding guests and associates, responding to safety incidents, and supporting life-saving interventions such as first aid, emergency response, and evacuation procedures when required.
- Support wildlife monitoring and control measures within the resort environment, ensuring safe coexistence between guests and the surrounding natural habitat while responding appropriately to wildlife-related situations.
- Assist in emergency preparedness and crisis response operations, including participation in Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Crisis Management Team (CMT) procedures, drills, and real-time incident management.
- Monitor and assist in the operation, inspection, and maintenance coordination of fire safety systems and equipment, including fire alarm systems, fire suppression equipment, emergency exits, and evacuation readiness.
- Support guest safety response protocols, ensuring prompt and professional assistance to guests in situations involving safety concerns, medical emergencies, accidents, or security incidents.
- Assist in traffic management, movement coordination, and operational communications within the resort to ensure smooth and safe operational flow.
- Prepare and maintain daily operational reports, including incident reports, patrol logs, safety observations, and security documentation in accordance with departmental standards.
- Support departmental administration, including master key control, inventory and asset records, documentation of safety equipment, and other operational records.
- Maintain professional communication and strong working relationships with guests, colleagues, management, and external stakeholders while representing the resort with integrity and professionalism.
- Ensure strict compliance with all occupational safety and health requirements, security procedures, and company policies while performing assigned duties.
- Perform any additional duties or responsibilities assigned by management to support operational excellence, guest safety, and continuous improvement of the resort’s safety and security environment.
