Sunway Agility Challenge
Sunway Agility Challenge is Sunway Group’s flagship leadership programme that develops future-ready university students through 12 days of immersive business rotations, real-world case challenges, and mentorship across diverse industries. Each year, SAC spotlights different sectors—past editions have featured industries such as education, hospitality, healthcare, property, malls, and many more.
Working in teams and guided by industry mentors, participants gain cross-functional exposure and hands-on problem-solving experience. Complementary workshops further develop business acumen, financial literacy, and personal growth.
SAC is more than a case competition—it’s an immersive journey through Sunway’s business ecosystem, offering fresh, industry-specific challenges each year. With real-world cases, expert mentorship, and curated workshops, SAC equips participants with the agility, insight, and skills needed to thrive in today’s evolving business landscape.

What is the Sunway Agility Challenge?
The Sunway Agility Challenge (SAC) is a hands-on case study competition where you’ll team up to solve real business problems from different Sunway industries. Each year highlights a different sector—like education, hospitality, or property—and along the way, you’ll get mentorship from industry experts plus workshops to boost your business, financial, and personal skills.
Who is eligible to apply?
If you’re a Pre-University or Undergraduate student from any field of study, you’re welcome to apply! We accept students from both local institutions and top universities around the world—including those in the UK, US, Australia, and beyond.
When does the application period begin?
Application starts from 9 May 2025 and ends on 12 July 2025
How long is the case study challenge period?
The challenge runs for 12 days, from 18th August to 30th August 2025. Don’t worry—we’ll provide accommodation and meals throughout the entire period so you can stay focused and comfortable while working on-site in Sunway City.
How does the rotation work?
You’ll kick things off with trainings and workshops to prep you with the right skills. Then, you’ll go through four business rotations, each one tied to a different case challenge—so that’s four case challenges in total, with two days dedicated to each. Each rotation gives you hands-on experience with a different Sunway business unit, helping you gain valuable industry insights along the way.
What can I gain?
SAC gives you the chance to work on real business problems while gaining practical exposure in both technical and soft skill development. You'll rotate through different Sunway industries, attend hands-on workshops, and receive direct mentorship from business leaders. It’s a great way to build confidence, grow your network, and gain industry insights. Plus, outstanding participants may be considered for a fast-tracked application process for future opportunities with Sunway. And yes—you’ll also walk away with a certificate to celebrate your journey.
Are there any application fees to apply for the Sunway Agility Challenge?
Nope—it’s completely free to apply and participate in the Sunway Agility Challenge! We’ve got your accommodation and meals covered too, so you can focus fully on the experience without worrying about extra costs.
Are there any allowances for participants?
No allowances will be provided, but each participant will receive full access to accommodation, meals, mentorship, and professional development opportunities—an experience valued at up to RM10,000 per person. It’s our way of investing in your growth, so you can focus fully on the challenge without financial worry.
