Data Governance & Privacy (Please note this position focuses on Data Governance & Privacyresponsibilities rather than Data Analytics or Data Science roles.)
Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework and strategy that aligns with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the proper processing of data throughout the Group.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT teams, legal, audit, cybersecurity and Business Units, to define and document data governance and privacy requirements.
Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on data governance best practices and privacy regulations.
Monitor and evaluate data governance and privacy compliance, including the implementation and effectiveness of data protection controls, to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Stay up-to-date with relevant data protection regulations such as PDPA and other applicable laws, and ensure compliance with these regulations within the Group.
Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to business units on data governance and privacy matters.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the implementation and maintenance of appropriate technical and security measures to protect data privacy

Overseeing and managing large-scale programs and projects across the Group.
Understand and assess the Business Units IT operations, their strengths, weaknesses, identify opportunities and provide recommendations to optimise their IT operations
Keep abreast with emerging digital and innovative technology such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, etc, and explore and evaluate these technologies that will bring value to the business for implementation.
Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Business, Data Management or related disciplines.
Experience or knowledge/interest in data governance, data privacy, and information security.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the Group.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks, solve problems, and able to think out-of-the-box.
Knowledge of data management and privacy tools and technologies will be an advantage.
Preferably 2 years of related experience in both advisory and implementation either in areas of Data Governance & Privacy, IT Strategy, Transformation and/or Operations
